Future Initiative – Connected with Getaway Skilled Talent

The International Friendship Association (IFA) gGmbH is preparing to establish the Multipurpose Training Centre of Excellence in Ethiopia as a future project, once funding is secured. This initiative will be closely linked with our Getaway Skilled Talent program, creating a strong pathway for Ethiopian youth and professionals to access vocational training, German language preparation, and international placement opportunities.

Through this future centre, we aim to:

  • Build capacity by providing tailored training programs for Ethiopia’s workforce.
  • Create meaningful employment opportunities within Ethiopia.
  • Empower individuals with competencies to meet labour demands in both Ethiopia and Germany.
  • Bridge skill gaps by connecting trained talent with German employers.
  • Offer German language training to job seekers preparing for opportunities abroad.
  • Implement vocational education and training (VET) programs with action-oriented learning.
  • Establish a state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern tools and methodologies.

This planned initiative represents our commitment to sustainable development, international collaboration, and workforce empowerment. By connecting the Training Centre with Getaway Skilled Talent, we will foster integration, opportunity, and mutual benefit for Ethiopia and Germany.
